Our work includes advertising, public relations, events and sponsorships, social media, search engine marketing, and content marketing. We also challenge design conventions, monitor the competition, and act as a strategic partner throughout the company. The Premera sales department includes groups focused on operations, market solutions, analytics, wellness programs, and insurance producers and agencies. Connexion Insurance Solutions, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Premera Blue Cross, is a general agency, headquartered in Mountlake Terrace, WA, focused on guiding individuals and families, adults 65+ and small business employees toward financial health by providing holistic, multi-carrier benefit solutions. This includes a broad portfolio of medical and ancillary products supported by easy-to-use technology platforms and distributed in partnership with producers and professional advisors across four states.
As the Manager of Sales Support for Connexion, you will act as a senior management presence for company Operations. You will help better serve our customers and partners by creating a culture that promotes employee growth, collaborative innovation, and inspired leadership. You will develop an environment where employees can do their best work and where best-in-class talent comes, stays, and thrives!
What you’ll do
- Oversee and manage all daily business operations for Connexion.
- Build and manage a Sales Support team (including hiring, coaching, performance management, etc.)
- Provide recommendations to cross-functional and sales leaders in developing, planning and implementing effective processes.
- Lead and act as a consultant in support of organizational strategy, initiatives, projects, and products.
- Review and manage budget for all cost centers impacting the organization.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and vendors (including Premera, MetLife, RSL, VSP, etc.).
- As a key contributor to the management team, provide guidance towards future vision of organization.
- Assist with process and systems improvement activities – technology focused.
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree or four (4) years’ work experience.
- Five (5) years of sales experience.
- Two (2) years of supervisory/management experience or equivalent.
- Experience in customer service and client management.
- Entrepreneurial mindset.
- Background in technology is a plus!
